Skills exchanges

Do garden work, need help on my computer: skills exchanges are a time-proven form of organised neighbourhood help. They turn uncomplicated door-to-door help into a larger context of give and take. In return for their service, they receive other offers of help that they can make good use of themselves. Networks of this kind can extend over small neighbourhoods, or over entire districts or towns.
Important: everyone can join in and give something – not only those who have enough money to buy the help they need.
